How to find Domain Name EPP code at Godaddy Registrar?

When transferring a domain name from one registrar to another you have to provide your authorization EPP code (Extensible Provisioning Protocol) Godaddy deliberately hiding it from Customer account. They don’t call it EPP – they call "Authorization Code". So here is the steps to find it. Also check the screen shot.

  1. First, login to your godaddy.com account
  2. Then click on Domain Manager
  3. Then click on domain name you intend to transfer.
  4. Under “Domain Information” section you’ll find "Authorization Code". Just click on “Send by email”

It will take few minutes to many hours before you receive the email from Godaddy – and sometime it may take a day… that’s how Godaddy works. So don’t click on "send by email" repeatedly!

Once you have received the EPP code by email provide the same to your new registrar. (normally by entering it) Within 2-3 days your domain name will get transferred.
